Batik or Pateh is a Javanese word used to refer to fabrics with dotted patterns. It is an art form that creates intricate and beautiful patterns. Each piece has two patterns and two main colors. The result is that each piece is unique and has different beauty.

The batik production group in Khlong Prasong Village is a small community that has been producing batik for over 10 years. They adapted the concept and production process from Pattani Province and combined batik production from Malaysia with batik production until it became an exquisite handicraft. It was initiated by Aunt Prajim Lekham and her family who took care of every step, from designing the pattern, painting, wax drawing, coloring, printing the wax, dyeing the fabric, soaking it in a color-preventing solution, and drying it. All of this is done in one small room. There is also a shop selling batik products, including sarongs, shirts, and shawls in the next room.
